Prior to launching Ubuntu Psychological services, Dr. Reed had extensive experience working in government institutions as a mental healthcare provider and advocate, assisting in her quest to aid the rehabilitation of offenders. Beyond her background in law enforcement psychology, Dr. Reed has worked with a variety of populations such as geriatrics, foster youth, couples, immigration, Psychological Assessments, and chronic and severe mental health conditions. She has also taught doctoral, master, and bachelor level courses in psychology, human development, early childhood education, sociology, and criminal justice. Furthermore, she has provided and spearheaded workshops in a wide range of topics such as higher education, women’s empowerment, Christian counseling, diversity issues, and race within the correctional system. Committed to her pursuit of servicing individuals, couples, and families of color, Dr. Reed hopes to continue the foundational work and create healthy dialogue surrounding mental health.

Dr. Reed holds a Doctor of Psychology degree with an emphasis in Multicultural Community from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP-LA). She also holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from CSPP-LA, a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from National University with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles.
