Dr. Maul-Jones is a Licensed therapist IN Georgia and California. She has commitment to social justice, cultural awareness, advocacy, empathy, and healing to traumatized and marginalized individuals and families. Dr. Maul-Jones has traveled the globe doing missionary work and research for her craft. Dr. Maul-Jonses lived and worked in Liberia, West Africa for nearly 5 years where she developed, implemented, and graduated the first ever bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling in the entire country. She spawned training trauma counseling, conflict mediation, and crisis intervention that were culturally designed for a diverse/marginalized population. While in Liberia she also counseled and educated victims of trauma. During her stay in Liberia, West Africa Dr. Maul-Jones received the first Trailblazer Award from the William Vs Tubman University-Liberia, West Africa. She was also entered into the Hall of Fame by the National Association of University Women- Los Angeles, CA, for the work she did in Liberia and across the globe.
With a Masters in counseling psychology and a PhD in international psychology gaining insight into various cultures, Dr. Maul-Jones has a breadth of knowledge. Consequently, Dr. Maul-Jones has a lot of experience and brings valuable expertise and wisdom into therapy. She approaches therapy from a place of empowerment and has a way of transforming your difficult/complex situations into understandable, resolvable solutions. She is a calm, loving, funny, and insightful therapist. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, acting, and traveling.
