Dr. Angelica Thomas is a compassionate and dedicated psychological associate. She received her doctoral degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and has obtained her master’s in counseling psychology from National University.

Her background in clinical psychology has equipped her with the skills to assist diverse patients of all ages in navigating through trauma, depression, and anxiety. Dr. Thomas is deeply committed to respecting and cherishing the unique identity of each patient, helping them explore their individual intersectionality. She firmly believes in the transformative power of self-insight, guiding patients to operate from their inner strengths, and fostering healthier relationships with others.  

In her therapeutic approach, Dr. Thomas emphasizes collaboration, tailoring her methods to meet each person's specific needs. Rooted in a commitment to growth and healing, she aims to help clients cultivate healthy coping skills and adaptive behaviors to effectively manage life's challenges. Dr. Thomas utilizes an integrative approach that is uniquely tailored to each individual, working collaboratively with the patient to identify areas for personal growth. She incorporates a variety of clinical disciplines including CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Humanistic Theory. Additionally, Dr. Thomas is EMDR trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and a Certified Rape Crisis Counselor.

Dr. Thomas has experience in conducting psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults, helping individuals with a diverse range of conditions that impact learning, behavior, and social-emotional functioning, such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autism.

Dr. Thomas is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment where individuals can feel safe exploring their inner worlds and embarking on a journey toward personal growth and healing. Her ultimate goal as a psychologist is to help clients develop healthy coping strategies and adaptive behaviors that empower them to effectively manage stress, emotions, and life's challenges.
